Speaking of sweet and salty creations, Christina Tosi of Momofuku has blessed Manhattan with her Crack Pie. It’s a bold name, but the droves of New Yorkers lining up outside the shop prove that this slice of pie really is that addicting.

The crust is replaced by an enormous crumbled oat cookie. The filling is a gooey butter mixed with vanilla and, oddly enough, corn powder. Good luck trying to eat just one slice, you’re going to need it.

5. Steve’s Authentic Key Lime

You would expect a company that uses “key lime” in their name to make amazing key lime pies, and Steve’s doesn’t disappoint. It starts with a mahogany brown graham cracker crust, which is filled with a condensed milk custard expertly laced with authentic key lime juice. Each pie is baked in a batch of twelve to ensure quality control, so you can expect nothing short of the best on every visit.

6. Pies ‘n’ Thighs: Banana Cream
